Amazon.ca is the Canadian arm of Amazon.com. The .ca site doesn't have all the bells 'n whistles the .com has, but it's still ahead of other book etailers in terms of features. Prices are competitive.
Powells has got a great selection of used books. Much more extensive than Amazon/BN, and you are charged the regular shipping rates - no "special order" surcharges. Just search for a book as usual, and the used books appear in the results.
Prices for new books are high so if you're looking for a newer book, you'd be better off at another etailer.
Plus you pay GST at checkout, so no customs fee surprises at your door!
